We have been able to have smaller worship services in the evenings Monday through Thursday. Every night the Lord has been so faithful and the students have come so hungry to hear the Word. One evening we were talking about Jesus and how He is super natural. Two girls that night had come each with a foot injury. By the end of the night both girls were prayed for by different groups of people and were healed. I would like to share one of the testimonies with you here.
“Before coming to UCA I went to a school called Butler Community College, which is a 2 years school, in Kansas. I knew going there I would need to improve in the classroom and on the track. My first season went great. I was All-American for outdoor. Preparing for the up-coming season, I dealt with a lot of self-worth and my identity. Pre-season came and I was doing great. I was improving in high jump and running a lot faster. I started to get consumed in my performance that I turned away from the Lord and turned to the things of the world and started struggling with drugs, eating, and boys.
During that season, I ruptured my achilles which caused my season to end before it started. I had plans to have new goals as an athlete, but while doing that I only found my worth in “being a track athlete” and forgot who I was in The Lord’s eyes. I forgot where my gifts and talents came from. The Lord gave me a passion, but that passion was not being used to serve Him. I was bettering track, but not bettering my relationship with The Lord. Sometimes the things that control us and take over have to be removed so that we can have a better focus on our purpose and calling.
I learned the hard way by rupturing my achilles, but also there was healing in that. When I came to UCA my foot was still bothering me to walk and track did not look promising . I went to my first practice or a practice that was at the beginning of the semester and found out that I had bruising around a bone due to the way surgery was. That Thursday we heard about the supernatural Jesus and his healing that he's done for many including myself. Someone asked if my foot had been prayed for and I said no, so we prayed for my foot and I no longer wear my boot, ankle brace, or tape it before practice. I am able to run, jump, lift weights, and run track while giving glory to God.
With this I know who I should depend on and where my true purpose and how I can shine my light. 1 Samuel 3:3 ‘The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was.’ As this next week approaches I challenge that our lamp won't go out, as His servants we listen, and that we lay down our lives for the Lord.“

It has been beautiful to see Tamera grow in her relationship with the Lord in such a short few weeks. She has not only been healed physically, but also spiritually. This physical healing is just a physical representation of a work The Lord is beginning to heal inside her heart. “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah 52:7 I believe Tamera will be one who carries the gospel not only to her track team (her trainers are amazed), but that her story will be shared and bring God glory everywhere she goes.
We have had 12 students baptized so far. We are blessed to have the space at our new building to baptize on campus. It is a special time after service to celebrate new life together as one family.

Prayer
Pray that we still find those who are lonely in their dorms and desperate for community. Pray that there will be freedom from anxiety, depression, and social anxiety.
I would not want to do this without such a wonderful support team! Thank you for your support! I am praying for each of you.
