Fill This Place

Writer's picture: AlyssaAlyssa

I pray for each of you, whether you are in quarantine or on the front lines, that you

are healthy and strong. I hope this season has been filled with many things to be

thankful for. I have prayed your family would find themselves closer to each other and closer to the Lord during this time.

Our Missions Training Center is coming right along. It looks less and less like a construction site everyday! We are in the final stages, less things are being built, and more things are being cleaned. The finishing touches outside are also being completed. We will be doing all our landscaping this week. We are getting so excited!

As we work to clean ever inch and corner we can see, not just the dirt, but what will fill this place. Walking down the upstairs hallway with rooms for Dgroup on my right I can see the word of God coming alive to someone for the first time as they attend their very first Dgroup. As I come to the end of the hall I look over the balcony to the common space where I can hear the roar of many conversations, laughter and joy of genuine brotherhood and sisterhood. Standing in the kitchen, I can smell the coffee brewing, I can see the many students who will feel at home in this family and feel at home in God’s love. Walking into the large group meeting room I feel very small but I know that vision will be shared in this room much larger than we could ever imagine.

This place will be filled with conversations of the kingdom, truth will be spoken here, declarations of the goodness of God will echo through the rafters and the word of God will be lived out in this place. This place will be filled with a roar of students in prayer for their families, their campus, and their friends who don’t know God. This place will be filled with the beautiful sound of a generation praising God. Even more exciting than seeing this building completed is seeing and dreaming of what will fill this place. Once it is complete, this place will be filled with more than just tables and chairs.

We are currently without furniture for this building. It is much larger than what we have been operating out of and the furniture we currently are using isn’t enough to fill the new space. This space is large enough for us to have leadership meetings (200 people) but we have no chairs for them to sit on.

Will you help us fill this place with furniture?

I have provided a small diagram of our building that includes the cost and description for each room to be filled with the needed furnishings to complete the space. If you would like your donation to go to a specific room please designate it on a check or in an “Additional Comment” if you give online. Your name will be added to the list of those who completed the space and provided the furniture. We will be faithful to pray for you, your family, church or business before every meeting that is held in that room.

I would not want to do this without such a wonderful support team! Thank you for your support! I am praying for each of you and looking forward to seeing everyone in person.
