Hello Everyone!
As this first month of the Fall Semester has flown by, have you allowed the Lord to
burden your heart for the Freshmen on our university campus? Have you prayed with expectation of what you want to see God do on campus? Has your heart been filled with wonder of what God can do in a life during one school year? Have you prayed that we would have purposeful conversations and divine encounters every time we step on campus? Have you fought for those you have not met?
My prayer continues to be that there would be stories to share of women who's lives have been changed by encountering the Lord. That the nameless and faceless people we have been praying for will soon be named with beautiful smiling faces that will glow with the unfailing love of the Lord.
These prayers have not fallen on deaf ears. These prayers have been answered! Your time spent fighting for those you have not met now have names and beautiful faces. Madeline, Jordan, Ashley, Shalea, Devon, Destiny, Leah, Caroline, Sarah, Maddie, Emily, Hope, Cam, Cassie, and Alex are a few of the girls I have met and invited into my life over this past month. Some have a relationship with the Lord and others don’t even know where to begin.
Can we continue to pray with such boldness and faith for those who you have not met yet? There are still girls on campus who are searching for community and the love of God. I can’t wait to introduce you to more of the girls I have met! God is going to do amazing things this semester! Thank you all for your sacrifice in time given in prayer to send others into unreached places.
Ground Breaking
Sunday, September 15th, was Ground Breaking Day! We have out grown our little Chi Alpha house that we currently use for office space and for 24hr prayer. The Lord has put many pieces together over the past few months and we broke ground on a piece of property on the university campus. Construction on our new Chi Alpha Missions Training Center has begun! It will be a 10 month building project and we are looking forward to being in this new building.
Thank you for passing on the heart of God to the next generation! I would not want to do this without such a wonderful support team!
