How do we only have five weeks left of the semester? It feels like just yesterday when we were moving Freshmen into their dorms. God has done so much in nine weeks. I would like to introduce you to the girls that have been apart of my life these last few weeks and what God has begun inside of them.
Meet the Girls
Shelbe and Maryn came as a package deal. They are childhood friends who haven’t known life without the other. They are such sweet friends for each other. I was at our Chi Alpha building late one Friday night and they walked in together. They introduced themselves and asked how they could get involved. Maryn came to my house that same evening to hang out with my roommates and I. Both the girls were at Dgroup that same week.
Shelbe was in heaven walking through the sunflower field. As I have had the privilege of getting to know her I have discovered she is an artist and very talented. She is such a sweet faithful friend to those around her. I have seen her walk in more confidence during these last few weeks.
Maryn has such a fun personality and is so easy to be around. She has such a tender heart to the Lord and wants to know Him for herself. Instead of hearing about God from others she wants to have her own experiences with God.
Alice is from South Korea. She met and fell in love with the Lord when she came to America. She has a passion for her International friends to also know Jesus.
Mikayla, I met her one day behind the library, the Lord told me to walk behind the library and she was the only person there. She had just prayed for new friends and the Lord kindly answered her prayer. She has such a sweet patience for those who don’t know the Lord. She has a simple faith that Jesus is who He said He is and is willing to talk with people as they are discovering who Jesus is. (Mikayla is the one on the left in the photo below)
Hannah, I met through another friend and she genuinely loves the Lord. When I met her she had already graduated from college and had just returned from teaching English for 13 months in South Korea. She has a wisdom beyond her years and has a resolve to do anything the Lord is asking her to do. (Hannah is on the right in the photo above)
I want to walk in just as much expectation, that the Lord will use these next few weeks, as I did at the beginning of the year. The week of Thanksgiving everything will be online for the students and they will have the option then to live off campus. Even though the semester will not end in five weeks that is what we have guaranteed with students.
This has been a new season, different than we have ever experienced but it has been such a blessing to get to reach the campus with each of you! I would not want to do this without such a wonderful support team! Thank you for sending me to meet these women who are learning what it means to follow after God. Thank you for your support and partnership!

What to Pray for...
Pray for these next few weeks we have on campus.
Pray for raised expectation to continue to look for what God is doing even though the time is limited.
Pray for good health over us & the Students! Pray we continue to walk in favor with the University
